Nancy was in a quandary. She had no way to view the Video she had received in the Discovery Packet. Neither she nor Nancy had a VCR player or knew anyone who did.
Nancy and Diane walked about a bit trying to think where they could view the video. Surely somewhere in the city there must be a place to do so.They checked at a legal and a public library if a VCR was available for public use but neither place had this service.
“Three Times A Charm” worked though when they checked if a TV store had a VCR they could use. The manager agreed to let Nancy view her Traffic Ticket Video and slide the tape into a large combo TV/VCR set. And what did Nancy see? She saw her car followed by a white truck followed by static. The Video was played again and again, each time allowing the static to continue longer, but the result was the same: Nancy’s car, a white truck, static.
While waiting for the Video to rewind Nancy complained to the manager that her ticket had been altered.
The manager took a look, then pointed out that the new violation VC22107 unsafe turning movement, wasn’t written by the officer.
Nancy was taken aback. Over the past two months she had looked at the traffic ticket numerous times. How could she not notice that the writing was different? Because the Notice of Correction verified that VC22106 had been changed to VC22107 by the officer ,Nancy assumed it was the officer who had crossed thru VC22106 and written in VC22107
That day Nancy didn’t gain anything new from viewing the Video, but when she viewed the Video again and let it run past the static, she was surprised at what came after. (POST #2 A TRAFFIC TICKET STOP)
